The true wealth of life is Happiness, and happiness lies in Good Health. Hijama is one very efficient way to achieve and maintain good health. Performing hijama is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and is reported numerous times in authentic Ahadis.
What is Hijama?
Cupping or Hijama is a traditional, safe and economic method to rid the body of toxic and harmful substances by removing the “bad blood” carrying them. Thus curing and preventing many diseases.
How is it done?
Hijama means “to draw out” in Arabic. Wet cupping involves placing cups on the reflex zones of the body such as the back, neck, abdomen and legs to cause local congestion through a negative pressure created through a special pump. Drawing blood to these zones stimulates the corresponding tissues and organs as well. The cups are then removed and small superficial incisions using sterile surgical blades are made. The cups are replaced and negative pressure is recreated to suck out the diseased blood out of the body, collected and disposed off.
Why is this blood diseased?
The extracted blood when viewed under light field microscopy and dark field microscopy showed high concentration of toxic metals and chemicals, as well as showing evidence of bacterial and parasitic activity. Removal of this toxic blood from affected areas of the body encourages flow of fresh oxygen rich and nutritious blood to these tissues, thus providing healing and resolution. Hijama Clinic London

Hotstone Massage
What is Hot Stone Massage?
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses basalt stones, also known as volcanic or lava rocks. These basalt stones are specially chosen for their ability to absorb and retain heat for an extended period of time compared to other stones, and for their smooth surface. The prolonged heat of the stones on the body promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and pain, and provide a feeling of balance and wellness. Hot stone massage also increases circulation, assists the body with detoxification, and provides clients with an overall sense of well-being. It has also been known to help those who suffer from insomnia, anxiety, depression and chronic pain symptoms.

Indian Head Massage
What is Indian head massage?
An Indian head massage is ideal for relaxing, realigning, recharging and rebalancing the entire body. This treatment is performed with the client seated fully clothed (a comfortable top with exposed back, shoulders and arms is recommended) and focuses on the scalp, neck, shoulders and face. By massaging these areas of the body, the practitioner works to manipulate energy channels that run through the body. By manipulating these energy channels, it is believed that blockages of negative energy can be cleared as a means of bettering overall health including helping to ease stress, aches and pains and baldness or hair loss.

Dry cupping/ massage cupping
Dry cupping is another very effective healing therapy practiced in many cultures. It is a technique quite similar to wet cupping.
What is Dry Cupping?
This technique involves placing glass cups turned upside down on the patient’s body and creating a vacuum inside the cup. Vacuum may be created using suction pumps or by placing a flammable substance inside the cup to remove all the oxygen. This anchors the cup to the skin and negative pressure is created pulling the skin upwards. Some oil may be applied to the skin before applying the cups so that they may be moved around on the affected area of the body. This is carried on for 5 to 10 minutes as per requirement. No cuts or incisions are made during dry or massage cupping. Hijama Clinic London
How does it work?
Drawing up the skin opens up the skin’s pores, which helps to stimulate the flow of blood, balances and realigns the flow of fresh nutrition rich blood to the area promoting circulation and healing. Moving the cups over the affected area of the body relaxes the muscles and breaks any adhesions between the skin and the underlying connective tissue.
Why does it do?
Cupping is a technique with many benefits. It can be used to heal.
Common cold and cough | Menstrual pain | Breathing difficulties | Hypertension | Muscular tension | Nerve pain | Hand, leg, neck and back ache | Osteoarthritis | Diabetes
Is cupping safe? Does it hurt?
While cupping is considered relatively safe, it can cause some swelling and bruising on the skin. As the skin under a cup is drawn up, the blood vessels at the surface of the skin expand. This may result in small, circular bruises on the areas where the cups were applied. These bruises are usually painless, however, and disappear within a few days of treatment.

Swedish massage
The most common type of massage requested to reduce stress and increase relaxation is Swedish Massage, in which the therapist uses oil or lotion with several basic strokes that are applied with light to medium pressure, depending on the client’s preference. The therapist determines the sequence of strokes that will best work for each client according to their needs, typically beginning with broad general strokes, transitioning to more detail specific strokes to address problem areas, and finishing with broad connecting strokes.
Swedish Massage is characterized by the use of five basic stroke techniques: effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement and vibration.

Deep tissue massage
Deep Tissue Massage, as its name says, focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is designed to reach the deep sections of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibers.
Using deep muscle compression and friction along the grain of the muscle, the purpose of Deep Tissue Massage is to unstick the fibres of the muscles and release both toxins and deeply held tension points. Specific hand positions and strokes are used to respond to various tissues while breath and movement techniques are employed to release muscular congestion. It helps to loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. It is both corrective and therapeutic. It is beneficial for many physical problems, including sports injuries and chronic pain. Because it works very deeply, emotional issues can also be addressed, when these have been stored in the body.
Treatments take place on a massage table on bare skin. Deep Tissue Massage usually focuses on specific areas and may cause some soreness during or after the session. If the massage is done correctly however, you should feel better within a day or two. Water helps to eliminate toxins from the body so it is important to drink plenty of water after a Deep Tissue Massage to help this process along.

Dorn method
The Dorn Method is a very gentle and safe manual therapy which was developed to focus on the causes of common Back and Joint pain. It originated in Germany some 40 years ago where it has become very popular due to its simplicity, the ease with which it can be learned, and its many success stories. Dorn can now be found growing throughout the world including the UK where there are currently around 300 Complementary Therapists including those working in orthodox medicine who have had Dorn Method training.
Dorn is a Complementary Therapy employing techniques which have been designed to correct misalignments of the spine and other joints using a dynamic approach carried out rather uniquely with full active participation of the client. The Dorn Method avoids unnecessary stress to muscles and ligaments and involves no jerky manipulation, no thrust moves or ‘clicking’ and ‘crunching’ of joints which some people fear or dislike.
It is also a self-help system, where therapists promote good posture and teach a set of simple self-help exercises for clients to practice at home, the aim being to help maintain long term health and to help prevent back pain.
